Mavie | Columbus Ohio Newborn Photography

Being a Columbus newborn photography, I’ve been blessed to work with the most incredible clients. And this sweet family was no different. I was able to work with them previously for a maternity session. I love being able to work with mom before baby comes. It’s a great way for us to get to know each other and get excited about new baby together. We are able to help mom feel pampered and loved leading up to the big day when baby makes their arrival.

During Mavie’s session we talked a lot about the long journey it took to getting pregnant. Which a lot of my clients can relate to. It’s something that takes time, and can be incredibly stressful. They are from Brazil and currently live in Columbus Ohio. Being so far away from family, they decided maternity and newborn sessions were just the way to capture beautiful portraits of their journey to later share with family back home.

My client’s mother was also here helping with new baby Mavie, and she was also included in the session! It was so much fun to include multiple generations in one session. The session was filled with lots of feminine colors and touches like pinks and gold. It was such a great way to celebrate baby girl during their studio session in my Columbus Ohio studio.

Throughout the planning process of your session, I always offer the option to upgrade to include hair and makeup into your session. Just another way to pamper yourself, and not stress the morning of the session! These clients opted for this add-on, and it was a great way to help mom feel beautiful!

One of my favorite images from their Columbus newborn session is the intimate nude portrait with mom kissing baby girl. It was such a touching moment, and filled with so much love and positivity for the future.
