Delphina - Columbus Ohio Newborn Photography
This past week, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful 2-week-old baby girl named Delphina. As a newborn photographer, each session is unique, but this one truly stood out thanks to the personal touches from her loving parents.
A Touch of Aviation
Delphina’s daddy is an aviation enthusiast, so we knew we had to incorporate his passion into our session. He brought along a model airplane, which added a charming and whimsical element to our shoot.
To enhance the aviation theme, we also included some vintage flight maps. The soft, earthy tones of the maps provided a perfect backdrop, creating a sense of adventure that echoed her father's love for flying. These personal elements made the images not just photographs, but a storytelling experience—capturing the dreams and aspirations of a family who cherishes both adventure and their new addition.
Indiana Hoosiers Pride
Mom and Dad also brought along a special Indiana Hoosiers blanket and bow. As dedicated fans, this blanket added another layer of warmth and character to our session. We wrapped Delphina in the blanket for some cozy shots that showcased her tiny features, all while highlighting the love her parents have for their team. It was a heartwarming sight, blending the joy of welcoming a new life with their passion for college sports.
Embracing the ElEMENTS
Given that we are in the heart of fall, we decided to embrace the seasonal colors for the session. The warm oranges, browns, and golden neutrals of autumn created a cozy atmosphere, perfectly complementing Delphina's soft, delicate skin. We adorned her with some beautiful pumpkins, leaves and cozy textures add a sweet, feminine touch to the shoot.
The Final Moments
As we wrapped up our session, Delphina’s peaceful demeanor and the love radiating from her parents made for some truly magical moments. There’s something incredibly special about capturing the early days of a newborn's life, and this session was a beautiful reminder of the joy and connection that a new baby brings.
