Celebrating New Beginnings: A Maternity Session Journey from Cincinnati to Columbus
I recently had the incredible opportunity to work with a lovely maternity client who made the journey from Cincinnati to my Columbus, Ohio photography studio. Expecting her first baby, she was filled with excitement and anticipation, and we were eager to create stunning images that would celebrate this special time in her life.
A Glamorous Arrival
Our Maternity session began with a touch of luxury. To ensure she felt as beautiful as possible, we included professional hair and makeup, allowing her to relax and truly embrace the experience. She looked absolutely radiant after her glam by La Prima Beauty, and I knew we were in for a memorable day.
Stunning Wardrobe Selections
All of my maternity clients have access to my luxury client wardrobe. This client selected her choices for the day. The first look was a breathtaking tulle blue gown that flowed gracefully with every movement. This ethereal piece perfectly captured the beauty of motherhood, highlighting her baby bump while adding a whimsical touch to our images.
Next, we switched to a classic black fitted dress that exuded elegance and sophistication. The sleek lines of the dress emphasized her figure, creating striking portraits that highlighted her natural beauty. Each pose radiated confidence and grace, making it a wonderful contrast to the fitted gown.
We then introduced an emerald silk fabric that shimmered beautifully in the studio lighting. The richness of the color and texture created a sense of warmth and depth, allowing for intimate, dreamy shots that truly captured the essence of her journey into motherhood.

Her husband joined us for the session, adding an extra layer of love and connection to our images. In addition to the stunning wardrobe changes, we also incorporated some more intimate images that focused on the beauty of her pregnancy.
